For Your Genuine Leather Goods

Our leather goods are made to age with character, telling the story of your journeys alongside ours.

• Cleaning: Gently wipe with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth or horse brush. For deeper cleaning, use a cleaner specifically designed for genuine leather.
• Conditioning: Nourish the leather every 6-12 months with a quality leather conditioner to prevent drying and cracking.
• Protection: Keep away from direct heat and prolonged sunlight. If caught in the rain, let it air dry naturally away from direct heat—do not use a hairdryer.
• Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Use a dust bag (provided) when not in use to protect it from dust and moisture.

For Your Mulberry Silk Products

• Washing: We recommend hand washing in cold water with a mild, pH-neutral detergent. Gently agitate and rinse thoroughly without wringing or twisting.
• Drying: Never tumble dry. Instead, roll the item in a clean towel to remove excess water, then lay flat or hang to air dry away from direct sunlight.
• Ironing: Iron on a low, cool setting while the garment is still slightly damp. Always iron on the reverse side to protect the delicate fibers and sheen.
• Storage: Store folded in a dry place. Avoid hanging heavy silk items for long periods to prevent stretching.

For Your Silk Lanterns

• Dusting: Use a soft brush, like a makeup or camera lens brush, or the cool setting of a hairdryer to gently remove dust from the silk frame.
• Spot Cleaning: If needed, use a barely damp cloth to carefully dab the affected area. Do not rub, as this can damage the stretched silk or painted designs.
• Bulb Safety: Always use low-wattage, or energy-saving bulbs that do not produce heat. Excessive heat can scorch the silk, damage the glue, and pose a fire hazard.
• Storage: If storing, carefully collapse the frame and store the lantern in its original box or a breathable bag to protect it from dust and moisture.
